Potluck on thursday at Carvers house. Short of any sort of revolt, we'll finally try to do the food inspired by a grocery store aisle. Due to Michael's weird infatuation with naming the list after Canadian landmarks, I've compiled an excellent list of Lakes in Ontario. Publicly declare your love for one of these lakes and I'll send you back an aisle number. (also I promise I didn't make any of these names up)

I once thought that Matt Cowan polite,
But I've clearly been proved wrong tonight,
For prior his passing
He bothered not asking
Which possessions of his I might like!

And finally (and here I must credit my inspiration to a past Thanksgiving in the company of my good friend Mara and her family)...
In the past I've attended potluck,
But I've a penchant for turkey and duck,
Vegan friends found it foul,
My obsession with fowl,
So next time it's tofurkey and tofuck.
